The Calcione Estate has always been home to many horses.

They offer a range of horse-riding activities from their three-day ride through the Senese rolling hills to shorter treks on the estate.


Their excursions are designed primarily for guests with some riding experience although they can customize rides for individuals and groups.

Their featured activity is the three-day ride toward Siena: “The Palio of Castles.”

If you’re looking for a quiet day, you will be charmed by the private spring-fed lakes.
